What would you do for £20?

A man, wearing only a loose fitting pair of purple pants, squats at the bottom of a seven-foot-deep manhole, sloshing away in a swirl of human waste. He empties the evil smelling brew from a blocked sewer into a bucket that his collegues hoist up and dump in the middle of the road.

This is how he spends 10 hours every working day, knee deep in s**t earning just £20 a week and he counts himself lucky to have spent the last 10 years doing it in a country where 800 million indians earn just under £8 per week.

If only he’d heard of Doofa.
