Paula is in the unique position as an acupuncturist to not only be a fully qualifed and licenced Acupuncturist, but she is also an experienced Massage therapist as well as holding a degree in Psychology. This high level of qualification, obtained within the UK, has been supplimented with post graduate training in China, studying within the renowned Beijing Traditional Chinese ******** Hospital, as well as further training within the UK on both Massage techniques and on areas such as fertility, facial revitalisation acupuncture, weight management, stress and most general training on specific areas of Acupuncture theory.

It involves the insertion of very fine, pre-sterilised, single use needles that are left in place for up to 20 minutes. While the needles are in place clients often describe sensations like a tingling, or heaviness or a sense of warmth radiating from the acupuncture points.
